I noticed that having that little intro video there, first over the top of the sales letter, and then off to the left made the site seem a whole lot more inviting, friendlier, and someplace I wanted to be.

Let’s face it, most “mini-sites,” (that is, sites that are really just a sales letter) all tend to look alike.

It’s getting harder and harder to grab prospects’ attention.

But people LIKE to watch videos.

Just look at YouTube!

And studies show that adding video INCREASES response rates to your site, whether you’re asking them to opt-in to your email list, or buy your product.

It makes sense. When a prospect sees you (or your spokesperson) in a video, they’re able to relate to you as a fellow human being, instead of a bunch of words on a screen.

You become a real person they can identify with, like, and even trust.

And nearly 100% of the time, their ability to see and relate to you causes them to be MORE likely to opt in t your email list or buy your product!

Bottom line, adding pop-in video increases your conversion rate, often times DRAMATICALLY.

P.S. Imagine walking into a shop and catching a brief glimpse of the salesclerk hiding from you in the back room.

Do you feel welcome? Do you feel comfortable making a purchase?

Or do you want to quickly leave?

Now imagine walking into that same shop, and being greeted by the friendly, smiling store owner.

How do you feel about shopping there now?

Your customers are no different than you.

They crave human contact.

They want to know that you are a real person they can relate to and trust, somebody who actually gives a darn about them.

Make your visitors feel like they’re included, rather than targeted.
